Larry Birkhead, the ex-partner of the late Anna Nicole Smith, has spoken out against the upcoming film "Trust Me, I'm a Doctor," which tells the story of Dr. Sandeep Kapoor, who was implicated in Smith's death. Birkhead told Entertainment Tonight that he objects to his, Smith's, and their daughter's lives being used in the movie and has filed a complaint with the California Medical Board over Kapoor's participation. He also stated that actress Abbie Cornish, who plays Smith, does not have his stamp of approval. Birkhead said he tried to stop Kapoor from making the biopic and warned about the emotional distress it would cause, particularly for his daughter Dannielynn. He noted that Smith's story has been told several times before. The film is based on Kapoor's 2017 book and is scheduled for release on October 16.
