Apple has filed a federal lawsuit against OpenAI, two of its employees, and io Products, accusing them of stealing trade secrets. The lawsuit, filed on Friday, alleges that OpenAI engaged in "a pattern of theft" of Apple's confidential product development information by hiring former Apple employees. According to the complaint, at least two long-time Apple workers who left to join OpenAI allegedly emailed internal Apple information to themselves. Drew Pusateri, a spokesperson for OpenAI, denied the allegations, stating, "We have no interest in other companies' trade secrets."
