Microsoft has announced the first wave of games coming to Xbox Game Pass in July 2026. This is the company's first announcement following the recent layoffs that impacted the Xbox division, where CEO Asha Sharma laid off 1,600 employees, with another 1,600 layoffs planned over the next 12 months. Four studios left Microsoft as part of the restructuring, which Sharma called the most significant in Xbox history.
