Ator Edward Boggiss, de Sandy e Junior, morre aos 49 anos

Edward Boggiss, an actor known for his roles in the series Sandy e Junior, died at the age of 49 on Wednesday, July 8. The cause of his death has not been revealed. Fellow actor Pedro Garcia Netto shared information about the funeral on social media, stating that Boggiss would be cremated on Thursday, July 9, at the Memorial do Carmo cemetery and crematorium in Rio de Janeiro. Netto described Boggiss as a "warrior" who "fought bravely." Boggiss's daughter, Julia, also paid tribute, saying "Rest in peace, daddy. I love you forever." In addition to Sandy e Junior, Boggiss appeared in several other television productions, including Laços de Família (2001), Floribella (2005), O Profeta (2006), and Chamas da Vida (2008). His last television role was in 2010 on the series A Vida Alheia. He is survived by his wife, Érika Boggiss, and his daughter, Julia, from his relationship with actress Danielli Guerreiro.
