Below Deck Med's Luke Not Washing Nathan's Soiled Sheets Is 'Safety Hazard'

Joe Bradley from Below Deck Mediterranean has explained that Luke Brumer's failure to wash Nathan Gallagher's soiled sheets after a hookup is a serious issue that goes beyond hygiene. Joe told Us Weekly that it is a safety hazard and a cleanliness and hygiene issue that is literally in the crew's contract. He noted that it is possible for someone to get fired for such a breach, depending on how far it is taken, and that it has happened in the past. The incident occurred when Luke hooked up with Genevieve Lillie in their shared cabin, and the couple later moved to Nathan's bunk where Luke finished in the sheets. The linens were never washed, and Nathan slept in the bed for multiple nights unaware of the situation. Joe suggested that Nathan's management style could also be a factor, advising that the issue could be handled by simply asking Luke to wash the sheets. Joe also commented on Luke's love triangle with Gen and Joy Lefaucheur, advising him not to get involved in such situations based on his own experiences. Joe, who has been entangled in love triangles in past seasons, expressed regret for his past actions and said he is trying to be better every day, noting that he has received some positive feedback from viewers this season.
