Celtic have confirmed the signing of Colombian forward Camilo Duran from Qarabag on a five-year deal for an undisclosed fee. The 24-year-old, who becomes the first Colombian to play for the Scottish champions, scored 15 goals and provided 10 assists last season, including five goals in 10 Champions League appearances. Duran joined Qarabag last summer from Portuguese second-tier side Portimonense and is currently at Celtic's training camp in Portugal. Duran expressed his excitement about the move, calling it a "dream come true" to play in the Champions League and stating his desire to continue scoring goals at that level for Celtic. He also noted the honor of being the first Colombian to play for the club and hopes that performing well at Celtic will help him achieve his dream of playing for his national team. Duran added that he had no doubts when he first heard of Celtic's interest and is eager to repay the manager's faith with his performances.
