Fire Country alum Leven Rambin has revealed that she suffered a serious complication during a routine laparoscopy to treat endometriosis, claiming a surgeon accidentally nicked her aorta. In a TikTok video, Rambin, 36, said she woke up to doctors telling her they "saved my life" after the incident, which required immediate repair surgery and a blood transfusion. She said the surgeon admitted fault, calling it a "one in a million freak accident." Rambin was diagnosed with stage 1 endometriosis and polyps during the procedure. She spent nearly a week recovering in the intensive care unit, later sharing updates on her progress, including walking to aid healing. In a follow-up video, she said the gravity of the situation was starting to hit her, but she was trying to avoid a "mental rabbit hole." She was later discharged from the ICU and expressed hope of leaving the hospital.
