Jana Kramer defended Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's choice to have Adam Sandler officiate their Madison Square Garden wedding. Speaking on her "Whine Down" podcast, Kramer addressed those who found it an "interesting choice," recalling that she met Sandler years ago while working on the film "Click." She described Sandler as a "sweet man" with a sentimental personality, saying she could see him being funny but also grounded and sentimental. Kramer noted that Sandler is "very intentional when he speaks" and, despite his on-screen persona, is "soft spoken" and "sweet and quiet" behind the scenes, making him a great officiant. Swift's publicist, Tree Paine, confirmed to Page Six that Sandler officiated the ceremony at Madison Square Garden on July 3. The newlyweds reportedly nudged Sandler to take on the job after he and Kelce shared the screen in the 2025 film "Happy Gilmore 2." Swift and Kelce tied the knot in front of 1,000 people, including celebrity pals like Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid. Instead of a traditional bridal party, the bride and groom chose to honor Swift's brother, Austin Swift, as her "Man of Honor" and Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, as the "Best Man."
