Longtime celebrity bodyguard Mason Haynes, known for his work with the Kardashians, has died at age 52. According to a GoFundMe launched by his family, Haynes died on July 4 "in a tragic road traffic accident" just two days before his 53rd birthday. He is survived by his wife Fay, daughter Brooke, and son Noah. The family described Haynes as a "protector. A mentor. A prankster. A giant in every sense of the word, with an even bigger heart." His employer, Trojan Security UK, paid tribute on Instagram, calling him "an absolute legend in the Close Protection game." Haynes notably worked with Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Kanye West, and was on the family's security team during Kim's 2016 Paris robbery.
