Savannah James has called out critics of her husband, LeBron James, after he announced his departure from the Los Angeles Lakers. On her "Everybody's Crazy" podcast, Savannah discussed the negativity surrounding LeBron, with co-host April McDaniel noting that people have made careers out of criticizing him. Savannah agreed, calling the haters "crazy" and acknowledging the difficulty of being on the receiving end of such criticism. LeBron, 41, announced his intention to leave the Lakers on June 30 after eight seasons with the team, during which he won the 2020 NBA championship. The Lakers released a statement thanking him for his contributions, and LeBron responded on X, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to wear the purple and gold. When asked about retirement after the Lakers' playoff loss, LeBron said it would depend on whether he could still commit to giving 100 percent to the game.
