Former NFL player Marcellus Wiley was served legal documents from his estranged wife Annemarie Wiley at Disney World's ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on July 8. The documents included a request for a domestic violence restraining order, a notice of court hearing, and requests for child custody and visitation orders. The couple, married since June 2014 with three children, made headlines when Marcellus was arrested on July 4 following an alleged altercation with Annemarie at a Marriott hotel in Florida. Annemarie filed for divorce two days later, citing irreconcilable differences, and accused Marcellus of a 'continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control and intimidation.' A judge granted Annemarie a temporary restraining order, and Marcellus has been ordered to stay away from her and their children until a July 24 hearing. Marcellus denied the allegations in a statement, calling them 'baseless claims.'
