Norway shirts sell out before England match

Official retailers in Europe have sold out of Norwegian national football team jerseys ahead of their World Cup quarter-final against England. The Norwegian Football Association (NFF) says it has severely underestimated demand, which has been fueled by feverish interest in players like Erling Haaland and boosted by Norway's victory over Brazil. Some fans have resorted to camping outside stores overnight to be first in line to buy new stock. The NFF's commercial director stated that demand has "exceeded all forecasts" and that orders are at a record high, with approximately 250,000 kits ordered this year compared to 50,000 during the same period last year. The official home jersey, originally priced at £89.99, is now selling for up to £355 on resale sites. A Nike spokesperson acknowledged the disappointment among fans and said they are working to improve availability, with additional deliveries expected in the coming days.
