‘Obsession’ Finally Has a Streaming Date – Find Out When and Where to Watch

The indie horror hit "Obsession" has finally set a streaming date after its unexpected critical and commercial success. The film, about a shy twentysomething who wishes for his crush's complete devotion with disastrous consequences, smashed box office records in May and June. Focus Features has announced that "Obsession" will begin streaming exclusively on Peacock on July 17, just 63 days after its theatrical debut on May 5. The film stars Michael Johnston as Bear and Inde Navarrette as Nikki, and has sparked nationwide discussion about toxic relationships and idolizing partners. Directed by 26-year-old Curry Barker, the movie has been praised for having something to say while also delivering scares. The synopsis follows Bear, who buys a "One-Wish Willow" trinket to win his childhood crush's love, only to find that Nikki becomes obsessively fixated on him, turning hostile and deadly when he wants space.
