Summer Games Done Quick (SGDQ) 2026 has concluded, raising $2.4 million (£1.8 million) for Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières. The annual speedrunning marathon, held in Minneapolis, attracted around 2,500 in-person attendees and thousands more via livestreams. All donations go directly to the charity, which provides life-saving medical care worldwide. A short documentary about the organization's work in Gaza was shared with attendees. The event featured a week of speedruns, including Bluekandy's world record-breaking run of Kirby Air Riders, a Balatro run that beat all odds, and impromptu beatboxing during a Resident Evil: Requiem run. SGDQ also hosted panels, community rooms for board games and music, a vendor alley with video game-inspired artwork, and demo booths. Since 2010, Games Done Quick has collectively raised over $62 million for various charities.
