Taylor Frankie Paul will reportedly return to film "The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" season 5 in a limited capacity amid her ongoing legal issues. A source confirmed to Us Weekly that Taylor will shoot scenes for the season's opening montage separately from the rest of the cast but is not expected to film anything else for now. Production on season 5 was suspended in March after Taylor and her ex Dakota Mortensen were involved in a domestic violence investigation, though prosecutors declined to file charges. Taylor's legal issues include mutual protective orders with Dakota, supervised visits with their son Ever, and a custody dispute with ex-husband Tate Paul over their two older children. She voluntarily spent time in rehab, which has since concluded. Amid the drama, Taylor's costars filmed a video joking about the fate of MomTok, which appeared to ruffle Taylor's feathers, as she changed her Instagram bio to read "Creator of Momtok + SLOMW" and wrote that people are "going at me during my lowest." Producer Jeff Jenkins expressed hope in May that Taylor would return to filming.
