TennoCon 2026 has concluded, with developer Digital Extremes revealing new content for both Warframe and Soulframe. The highlight was the long-anticipated Tau expansion for Warframe, which introduces a new solar system to explore, featuring the cyberpunk-style city of Fornax. Warframe creative director Rebecca Ford described Tau as "the biggest shift for Warframe ever," adding a full second solar system with new stories, planets, and moons to explore. The expansion also introduces a new Warframe named Brysko, voiced by Matt Mercer, who is a sentient Chimera Warframe and gunslinger. Alongside Tau, Warframe will launch several updates leading up to its release, including the Iceblade of Narin story quest, new deluxe versions of Qorvex and Banshee, and a new card mini-game called Portau based on poker. Soulframe also showcased a new fable questline, new weapons, darkside powers, player mounts, and a fishing mini-game.
