The original cast of Disney Channel's "The Cheetah Girls" is set to reunite for a "next gen" sequel, news of which broke in July 2026. The franchise, which began with the 2003 film adapted from Deborah Gregory's novels, followed the girl group Galleria, Chanel, Aquanetta, and Dorinda. Raven-Symoné, Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, Kiely Williams, and Sabrina Bryan, along with actresses Lynn Whitfield and Lori Anne Alter, will reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel. Since the original films, the cast members have pursued various projects. Raven-Symoné starred in her own Disney Channel show "That's So Raven" and its spinoff "Raven's Home," and she married Miranda Pearman-Maday in 2020. Adrienne Bailon-Houghton, a former member of 3LW, co-hosted "The Real" and married gospel singer Israel Houghton in 2016, with whom she has a son. Kiely Williams, also a former 3LW member, played the Southern belle Aquanetta in the films.
