"This is our Spider-Man 3" - Soulfame's Warsong update adds "edgelord" progression path later this year

Digital Extremes has revealed a major update for its fantasy action game Soulframe called "Warsong," which adds a new quest featuring Ben Starr as the antagonist Tempest Bayor, providing insight into the player character's tragic past and the nature of their Envoy powers. The update introduces the corrupted Vadagar pact, described as an "edgelord pact" with abilities aligned with the Ode's deities of Wrath, Doom, and Death, with the developers summing up the update as "our Spider-Man 3 for Soulframe." Additionally, Warsong will include rideable mounts such as giant wolves and a corrupted horse, as well as a "vegan" fishing mini-game where caught fish are released back into the water, with the quest and mounts arriving sometime in "Fallish."
