Ukraine has signed a $2.5 billion contract with Sweden for the delivery of Gripen E fighter jets by 2029. Swedish Defense Minister Pål Jonson noted that the deal is a first step in Kyiv's planned ambition to purchase up to 150 of the advanced combat jets.
