Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicle manufacturer Trinity Robotics plans to double its production to approximately 2,200 units this year, driven by rapidly increasing use of ground robots in Ukrainian Army operations. Co-founder Oleksii Konik told Defense News the company initially planned to make around 1,100 UGVs this year but is ramping up throughput due to increased military orders. The company's flagship UGV, Konyk One, is suitable for logistics and medical evacuation missions, and Trinity is working on a new variant fitted with a turret for combat operations. While Ukrainian defense companies are currently prohibited from exporting weapons, Trinity Robotics is in talks with a French producer to launch a joint venture and manufacture its UGVs abroad, and is also looking for partners in other European countries. Under Kyiv's Build with Ukraine program, joint manufacturing is primarily intended to cover Ukrainian armed forces' needs, but surplus output can be exported. The company is also working to secure funds for expansion, with recent investors including Sweden's Front Ventures and Hede Capital Partners.
