Owlcat Games is releasing a "massive update" for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of "Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader" following a disappointing launch that was called one of the console's worst ports. The patch aims to eliminate "nasty bugs" and improve visual presentation and performance. As an apology, Owlcat is making all additional content for the game free for Switch 2 owners, including Digital Deluxe content and DLC expansions like Void Shadows and Lex Imperialis. The announcement comes shortly after the reveal of a physical cartridge release for the Switch 2 port, scheduled for October 15, 2026. Owlcat is also working on a new WH40K CRPG titled "Dark Heresy" and the action RPG "The Expanse: Osiris Reborn."
