Chris Harrison is returning to the dating show business with a new series he created with his wife, Lauren Zima, which will air on Fox Nation this fall. Harrison described the project as "the dating love show I've always wanted to do" and noted that it is entirely his own creation, unlike his previous role hosting "The Bachelor." A casting call posted in February 2026 sought singles who want a "traditional, marriage-minded partnership" and believe in "clear roles, long-term commitment and building a life together." Harrison and Zima first announced their partnership with Dr. Phil McGraw's Merit Street Media in March 2024 to develop the dating series and a talk show. Harrison promised the show would be "the most dramatic ever," living up to his famous catchphrase. Harrison hosted "The Bachelor" from 2002 until 2021, when he stepped aside amid backlash over comments he made defending a contestant. He was permanently replaced by Jesse Palmer in 2022.
