Ariana Grande will not appear in American Horror Story after being cast in season 13. Deadline reported on Friday, July 10, that Grande has exited the horror series due to scheduling conflicts. The singer is currently on her Eternal Sunshine Tour and there were some scheduling changes on American Horror Story’s production schedule as well as Grande’s tour. Last month, Grande rescheduled multiple July concerts including her stops in Brooklyn and Boston. The tour, which will conclude in September, has upcoming stops in New York, Canada, Chicago and London. According to the outlet, Grande did not shoot any scenes for the upcoming season, which is set to premiere on September 24. Last year, show creator Ryan Murphy announced via Instagram that Grande would be joining American Horror Story season 13. The pair previously worked together on Murphy’s series Scream Queens, in which Grande played Chanel No. 2. In addition to Grande, Murphy revealed that the American Horror Story cast included some former cast members, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and Emma Roberts.
