Kristin Cavallari has explained why her children fly economy class while she travels in first class, saying it's a deliberate parenting choice to teach them the value of money. On the "Aspire with Emma Grede" podcast, the 39-year-old reality star said she values how her mother raised her with money and wants her kids to work for what they want. She noted that her sons started their own small businesses washing windows and garbage cans last summer. Cavallari, who shares three children with ex-husband Jay Cutler, said she is hyper-aware that her kids are growing up in a fortunate situation and wants them to understand that "this is my money, this is not your money." Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has expressed a similar philosophy, saying he doesn't let his children fly first class to keep them grounded.
