Fitness influencer Connor Murphy, 32, died on Tuesday, July 7, after drowning in Thailand. Days before his death, Murphy posted a YouTube video titled "Obituário pendente" (Pending Obituary), in which he performed random actions while music played and eventually looked at the camera and said, "You sons of b*tches have an unhealthy relationship with death." The video description stated it was a "purely satirical performance" and not depicting any real event. According to international media, Murphy exhibited agitated behavior after entering a taxi, leading the driver to ask him to leave. A second taxi driver also refused to transport him, causing Murphy to start screaming. When police arrived, he fled and jumped into a lake, where he drowned. His girlfriend stated he had no health issues or unusual behavior and denied drug use, though police found paint splatters in his rental home and two unused syringes and unidentified white pills in his car. The case remains under investigation.
