Pre-sales projections for Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced indicate the remake could be a major success for Ubisoft. According to data from analyst Rhys Elliot of Alinea Analytics, the game's pre-orders on Steam are already 5.39 times higher than those recorded by Assassin's Creed Shadows in the same period before its launch. Elliot reports that the initial performance of Black Flag Resynced has already surpassed the total sales of Skull & Bones on Steam. Ubisoft's pirate game, which derived from Black Flag's naval technology, went through a troubled development of more than 10 years before reaching the market in 2024 but never achieved the expected success.
