Ryan Dorsey, the ex-husband of late "Glee" star Naya Rivera, spoke to Page Six about how he and their son Josey, now 10, keep Rivera's memory alive six years after her drowning death. Dorsey said Josey has been taking piano lessons, something Rivera always "regretted" quitting, and that he tells his son "Your mom—she's always listening." The father-son duo also maintains a "Mommy Garden" in their yard with roses and flowers, and their dog Clifford's middle name is Marie, after Rivera. Dorsey said Josey does certain things—little laughs and voices—that remind him of Rivera, and that despite everything he's been through, Josey is "a super happy, charming, busy, smart kid." Dorsey described the anniversary of Rivera's death as "always the first week of July" and a "long week of a nightmare," saying he's learned to "cope with" and "accept" the tragedy. He revealed that Josey has developed "a very interesting sense of humor" about the event, sometimes making comments that correlate to it while swimming before going back to playing.
