‘As the World Turns’ star Scott Bryce dead at 68

Scott Bryce, best known for his role as Craig Montgomery on the soap opera 'As the World Turns', has died at the age of 68. His friend Lucie Arnaz announced his passing on Facebook, describing him as a wonderful actor, beautiful man, and terrific husband and father. Bryce had been battling Stage 3 esophageal and stomach cancer, which he was diagnosed with in 2025, and had previously shared that he was 'on the mend' after treatment. Bryce starred on 'As the World Turns' from 1982 to 2008, earning two Daytime Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor. He also appeared in shows such as 'Murphy Brown', 'Chicago P.D.', 'Law & Order: Special Victims Unit', and 'Blue Bloods'. His last acting credit was in a 2024 episode of 'Law & Order'. He is survived by his wife, Jodi Stevens, whom he married in 2003, and their son Jackson.
