Britney Spears defends wild behavior in LA traffic: ‘Nothing is what it seems’

Britney Spears has dismissed criticism after she was photographed standing through the sunroof of a moving SUV in Los Angeles traffic. The singer, 44, was snapped on the 101 Freeway near Studio City, and later posted a picture on Instagram of herself lying on the roof of her car, telling followers she was "arching to the lords." She wrote, "What people see is two seconds of insanity of me arching me to the lords !!!!! yet the days and hours of my reality !!!!!! Nothing is what it seems." A source told the Daily Mail that Spears went through the sunroof "for a quick moment" to check out the traffic since the cars were at a stop, and that she used to do this as a kid growing up in the South. The source added that she is "having a fun summer and is happy." Spears has been under scrutiny since her DUI arrest in California in March, after which she voluntarily checked into rehab in April and exited after less than a month. Meanwhile, her highly anticipated biopic is moving forward, with screenwriter Liz Meriwether hired to pen an early draft.
