Celeb hotspot forced to shutter amid fallout with partners

Scorpios Bodrum, a swanky resort on the Aegean Sea that has hosted celebrities including Gigi Hadid, Lindsay Lohan, Naomi Campbell, and Leonardo DiCaprio, has been forced to temporarily close following a fallout with its local business partner, Maxx Royal. The club, which is owned but not operated by Soho House, alleged that Maxx Royal sought to change the terms of their commercial agreement, and when they declined, they were told they would "face the consequences." According to the club, the front entrance and check-in area were bulldozed, delivery hours were reduced, guest parking was removed, and an on-call ambulance and medical personnel were allegedly restricted from accessing the resort. An updated statement on Scorpios Bodrum's Instagram account claimed the closure was due to restrictions that made it impossible to operate according to their standards, adding that they sincerely hope this will not result in the permanent closure of the resort.
