Former ‘Bachelor' Producer Had 'Love-Hate Relationship' With Hannah Brown

Former "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" producer Julie LaPlaca has detailed her "love-hate relationship" with Hannah Brown in her memoir "The Love Producer." LaPlaca told Us Weekly she would thank Hannah "for the lessons" and that the experience helped her learn about herself. She became lead producer for the first time during Hannah's 2019 Bachelorette season, which she described as "intense" due to the emotions and drama. In the book, LaPlaca writes that she hoped to "form a real bond" with Hannah but overheard her complaining to executive producers, causing tension. LaPlaca confronted Hannah, saying they were "alike" and asking her to give her "a chance." Despite the difficulties, LaPlaca writes that she "didn't actually hate" Hannah and that after everything, Hannah "was like a younger sister to me."
