"It's already exceeding our expectations on Switch 2" - Dragon's Dogma 2 Dark Arisen already running at '30fps and higher' on Nintendo handheld

Capcom's Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later this year, and producer Naoto Oyama says the game is already running at a minimum of 30 frames per second on the handheld, often exceeding that target. Oyama explained that Capcom's RE Engine has been a great fit for the Switch 2, allowing the company to accumulate knowledge from other successful ports like Pragmata and Resident Evil Requiem. The team is also working on a title update for late August that aims to improve performance mode on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S to reach 60fps, with those optimizations benefiting the Switch 2 version as well.
