Luiza Brunet, now 64 and recognized as a businesswoman, actress, and model, revealed that her childhood was marked by domestic violence and sexual abuse. In an interview for the segment "Calma, Que Eu Explico" on the program "Domingo Espetacular," she recounted being born in rural Mato Grosso do Sul and witnessing her mother being physically abused by her father, who was unemployed, alcoholic, and had untreated mental health issues. When she was 11, her mother left the marriage and moved the family to Rio de Janeiro. Brunet began working as a domestic employee and suffered sexual abuse from someone in that household. "I was invaded, my body was invaded by an adult," she said. She now serves as an ambassador for the program "Mãos EmPENHAdas Contra a Violência" and sits on the Women's Superior Council of FIESP.
