Man 'nearly sucked out of window mid-air' on Ryanair plane, passengers say

A passenger was reportedly nearly sucked out of a cabin window mid-air on a Ryanair flight from Thessaloniki, Greece, to Memmingen, Germany. Witnesses told local media that a Serbian man in his 60s was left hanging head first out of the window as far as his shoulders for several minutes before other passengers pulled him back inside. The aircraft, an 18-year-old Boeing 737 operated by Ryanair subsidiary Malta Air, returned shortly after take-off. Ryanair confirmed the incident, stating that a passenger window dislodged inflight, and the aircraft landed normally. One passenger requested and received medical assistance. Media reports quoted passengers describing a loud bang, the window breaking, and oxygen masks falling, with some believing the window was smashed by pieces of the jet's engine, though Ryanair has not commented on this. The Irish Aviation Authority stated it is aware of the incident and will provide assistance to the investigation.
