The singer recalled telling Beckham to "f--- off" as the group was leaving the event, and the next morning, bandmates Mel B and Geri Halliwell told her they were "disgusted" with her behavior. The group's manager also warned her that if anything like that happened again, she would be removed from the group, which terrified her as she feared losing her chance at stardom over a "trivial" incident. In other recent interviews, Mel C has also discussed which Spice Girl was most "boy crazy" (Mel B) and addressed assumptions about her sexuality based on her sporty appearance.
