João Batista Neves, father of singer Rionegro (of the duo Rionegro & Solimões), died this Sunday, July 5, at the age of 89. The news was confirmed by the City Council of Claraval. The cause of death was not disclosed. The wake will be held on Monday morning, July 6, and the burial is scheduled for 2 PM at the Municipal Cemetery of Claraval. Singer Rionegro has not yet commented on his father's death.
