Actor Scott Bryce, best known for his role as Craig Montgomery on the soap opera "As the World Turns," has died at the age of 68. His death was announced on social media by his longtime friend and former castmate Lucie Arnaz Luckinbill, who did not disclose the cause. According to soap opera journalist Michael Fairman TV, the post was later deleted. Bryce had been battling stage 3 esophageal and stomach cancer since 2025. Bryce, the son of actor Ed Bryce, played the role of Craig on the CBS soap from 1982 to 1991, and again from 1993 to 1994 and 2007 to 2008, earning two Daytime Emmy nominations for the part. His other television credits include "Murphy Brown," "ER," "Law & Order," "Sex and the City," and "Blue Bloods." He is survived by his wife, Jodi Stevens, and their son, Jackson.
