Mother Charged With Murder After She Claimed Vaccines Killed Her Twins

Andrea Shaw, a 23-year-old mother in Idaho, was arrested and charged with two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her 18-month-old twins. The twins, a boy and a girl, died on May 1, 2025, and were found dead in a shared bed. Shaw and her husband appeared on a podcast days after the deaths, suggesting the babies died shortly after being vaccinated. The podcast was produced by Children's Health Defense, an organization that promotes an anti-vaccine agenda. Shaw's attorney, Joseph Filicetti, said he believes the deaths were vaccine-related. Shaw gave birth to another child on June 25 and is currently in jail nursing and bottle-feeding. Police have not shared the evidence leading to the murder charges, and it is unclear if Shaw's husband faces charges.
