Xbox CEO Asha Sharma has admitted that Game Pass has not grown as Microsoft expected. The Wall Street Journal reports that the service currently has around 30 million subscribers, well below Microsoft's target of 77 million for this year. During the 2023 FTC trial against Microsoft, the company had expressed hopes of reaching 100 million subscribers by 2030, a goal that now seems very unlikely.
