Sunny Hostin reportedly asked cops if they knew who she was when her son, Gabriel, was hit with a trespassing violation in New York last month. The "View" co-host spoke to officers on the scene over the phone after Gabriel, 24, was caught jogging along MTA tracks and ignoring "no trespassing" signs, according to The New York Post. Hostin allegedly asked the officers if they knew who she was before name-dropping "The View." According to court records, Gabriel was stopped on June 16 near 24 Station Plaza in New Rochelle, New York, after he was spotted "on the right-of-way of the active railroad tracks." Ahead of his scheduled court appearance on July 31, Hostin wrote a letter to the D.A. asking the case to be dismissed, naming herself as her son's lawyer. In the letter, she described her son as a 2025 Harvard University graduate with no criminal history and an avid runner who made an "honest mistake," arguing that dismissal would avoid imposing "unnecessary consequences" on him.
