Tom Cruise is nearly unrecognizable in the first trailer for his upcoming movie "Digger," where he appears shirtless with gray hair and facial prosthetics. The 64-year-old actor plays Digger Rockwell in the film directed by Alejandro G. Iñárritu, which also stars Riz Ahmed, John Goodman, and Sandra Hüller. The trailer, set to Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House," suggests the film is a comedy, with Goodman's character noting that "Digger got us into this mess and Digger is going to get us out." Cruise has also joined TikTok ahead of the film's release, amassing over one million followers with just three videos promoting "Digger." Discussing his transformation, Cruise said he has "never had something that could challenge me in this way" and that the film is "totally original." Director Iñárritu called Cruise's transformation "astonishing," adding that both of them knew they "had never done anything even close to this."
