Richard Gere and Diana Silvers are starring in a new romance film, "Asymmetry," which centers on an age-gap relationship. A photo from the set shows the two actors, who are 48 years apart in real life (Gere is 76, Silvers is 28). The film, based on Lisa Halliday's novel, follows a 25-year-old editorial assistant who meets a 70-year-old world-renowned author in Central Park. The film is directed by Edward Zwick and also cowritten by Marshall Herskovitz and Halliday. The age gap in the film has drawn comparisons to other TV shows and movies with similar themes, including "Pretty Little Liars," "Georgie and Mandy's First Marriage," and "Shifting Gears."
