Navarone Garibaldi Garcia, son of Priscilla Presley, has defended his GoFundMe campaign to raise $5,500 for a personal pizza business. In an Instagram post, Garcia addressed critics who suggested he should ask his mother for money, explaining that he has bills and a budget, and that he is putting in $3,000 of his own money. He emphasized that he is not asking anyone who can't afford it to donate and is offering free pizza to those who do. In an interview with TMZ, Garcia explained he couldn't ask his mother for money for "every whimsical idea" or they would both be broke. After sharing his initial post, Garcia said his fundraising was "working" and that people who donate $20 can come get free pizza anytime. Priscilla Presley welcomed Navarone in 1987 while in a relationship with Marco Garibaldi.
