‘Storage Wars’ star Darrell Sheets’ final texts reveal he was ‘struggling with numerous things’ before his suicide

New details have emerged regarding the death of "Storage Wars" star Darrell Sheets, who died by suicide in April at age 67. According to a report from the Lake Havasu City Police Department obtained by Page Six, a review of Sheets' cell phone revealed he was "struggling with numerous things." The report also noted that a handwritten suicide note was found in a closet, which read, "I could not take anymore the Facebook bulling [sic], f*** you [redacted]." The report described the writing as "shaky." Sheets' girlfriend told detectives that he had been unable to sleep and got out of bed on the night of his death. She said she found him standing in his office doorway, where he told her to "go back to bed" before she heard a single gunshot. The report claimed Sheets battled severe sleep deprivation and had recently been stressed out, though he had never mentioned self-harm. It also stated he had a verbal argument with his son, Brandon Sheets, over "family drama," which left him "devastated" and "sad as hell." Following the news, "Storage Wars" personality Rene Nezhoda suggested that social media bullying may have contributed to his death.
