Kansas City Chiefs owner Clark Hunt's wife, Tavia Hunt, shut down a report that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding featured a massive shortage of seating and champagne. The Hunts attended Swift and Kelce's lavish Madison Square Garden wedding in New York City Friday, and Tavia left a comment on podcaster Zack Peter's Instagram post in which he rehashed a Daily Mail report that quoted apparent guests. One source told the outlet that there were only 150 seats at the wedding — which meant 800 of the pop star and the NFL athlete's guests had to stand during the lengthy wedding ceremony, in which Swift and Kelce each reportedly read 20-minute vows. Another source told the outlet that "the champagne ran out really early" and that the food at the event also left much to be desired. But Hunt directly refuted the report, calling it "a false narrative." "They did not run out of champagne," she wrote. "There were not long lines. Every single person was seated for the ceremony." "It could not have been a more fabulous experience," she added. Meanwhile, one attendee spoke to Page Six and gave a glowing review of the event, including the food, with one station featuring fresh pasta tossed inside giant Parmesan wheels, while another served burgers and fries. Grammy Award-winning music producer Smittybeatz, a childhood friend of Kelce's who attended the celebration, also dished on the nuptials while speaking exclusively to Page Six, saying, "They turned the Garden into a garden of love and wonderment."
